It may have been an overcast evening, but Olivia brought the sunshine! For the past five years, I have watched this lovely young lady grow into an amazing, gorgeous, and wonderful young adult! Olivia's intelligence, talent and goodness stand out and draws people to her.
I have been fortunate to work with Olivia in the Young Women's program at church and she is a natural leader. She reaches out to people and makes them feel welcome in a completely authentic way. Whenever there was a need, Olivia was always the first to step up and fill it. She has a beautiful voice and is an amazing pianist and gladly shares her talents.
In 2019 Olivia's was accepted into a very elite group of performers, the American Heritage Youth Touring Chorus of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. They toured and performed in Missouri, Illinois and Ohio.
As Olivia graduates, she plans to attend BYU-Idaho. She hasn't decided on a major but has an interest in many areas including English, music, culinary arts and cosmetology. I think it's safe to say that no matter which direction she chooses, with her direction and drive, she will be successful!
Lastly, Olivia is going to serve a two-year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Olivia lives such a Christlike life that her influence is sure to be felt by those she teaches and serves!
Olivia, I have no doubt your life will be full of amazing opportunities and accomplishments. You have been a bright light and example for me and I wish you the best as your journey begins!
