A few years ago, we were blessed to gain this amazing family as neighbors! We've never lived in a neighborhood with lots of kids running around, and we still don't, so it's so fun to have a family next door with kids the same age who enjoy playing together! I can't tell you how many times they have come to the rescue when we needed an emergency pickup for one of the kids from school, a chat in the driveway, or a fun playdate!
Our youngest boys are good buddies who love jumping on the trampoline, playing with magnatiles, or making fun videos together (and insisting we send pictures of each other's creations to each other when they've started something creative that they couldn't finish when their playdate ended). They have similar easy-going temperaments and their next older siblings have fun playing with them, creating games and teasing them just a little!
Their older children are musically talented and super smart! They work hard at band and homework and Dan and Jen work hard at getting them where they need to be. If you know anything about high school band, you know it is a huge commitment and requires tons of driving to and from practice, long nights, and lots of dedication. They are pretty much super-parents!
I could not be happier with how their session turned out. The sun was gorgeous the setting was so lovely. Dan and Jen and their family were so chill and were ready and willing to jump in front of the camera and give me their best! I know it's been a while since they've had family pictures, so I'm so glad they have a little snapshot in time of their sweet family. They are definitely neighbors who are near and dear to our hearts!
