From brotherly bonds to mom and daughter sessions, it's been a busy and wonderful summer! When Ruth contacted me she was so excited because all of her girls were going to be in town at the same time and she has been wanting to do a photo session for ages with them! I was more than happy to oblige because heaven knows I don't get a lot of girl time around here!
It was so fun to get to know Ruth and her daughters. They are from San Antonio, but as families tend to grow up and move away, they don't all live near each other anymore. Time and distance often become barriers to spending time together as children grow up and move away for college and careers. So when reunions happen, it is a wonderful time to capture the bonds that families share, and it was obvious that Ruth and her daughters are very close, despite the distance.
Deanna, Lauren and Jordan are all unique and they complement each other's personalities. There was just enough silly and serious to make this session turn out beautifully. I love that, even though everyone is grown, they still love laughing and having fun together, so much so that they wanted a silly-face picture in the end. I'm a firm believer in having a part of you that never grows up, especially when you're around your siblings!
Ruth, thank you for allowing me to capture the wonderful bond you have with your daughters. They are each so accomplished and beautiful inside and out!
