Time is a funny thing. I have known Gabby since she was probably about four years old and we have lived in the same area for several years, but I haven't seen her for a while. When we met for her senior session, I could not believe what a grown up and amazing young woman she has become!
Gabby is a gifted basketball player and has definitely made her mark on the Smithson Valley Varsity basketball team. She was named District 6A MVP, Defensive Player of the year, and Smithson Valley High School Offensive player of the year! In addition to her prowess on the basketball court, she was also a great student and an Academcic All District player. Her hard work and talent have earned her a full ride scholarship to St. Mary's University in San Antonio. That is an awesome accomplishment and a testament to her abilities.
Gabby and her mom are such a fun pair and I loved seeing their dynamic as we went about the evening. They have a wonderful and sweet relationship and I could see how proud her mom is of her.
Gabby is such a natural in front of the camera and she is extremely photogenic. She is so humble about her talents and beauty, which only enhances it all and makes it even more fun to work with her.
I have no doubt that Gabby will continue to set high goals and achieve them as she heads into the next phase of life as a college student. Congratulations, Gabby, and keep working toward those dreams!
