Why does November seem so long ago? I am so behind on posting these beautiful families but it’s fun to go back and enjoy their session again.
Every once in a while, I get the opportunity to work with a family I haven’t met before. Pamela reached out to me for pictures a few months ago and I was so excited to meet her and her family. I sometimes feel like teenagers get a bad rap, but I feel so at home working with them. Teenagers are fun, adventurous, and great listeners! Of course they sometimes don’t love getting their pictures taken, but if I’m being honest, it’s hard for me, too!
My number one goal is to connect with them and make them feel comfortable. It didn’t take me long with each of these girls. They are each unique and lovely in their own way! I was fascinated by how different their hair was! A friend of mine from childhood joked about how they called themselves the Clairol family because they each had a different color of hair and these girls fascinated me in the same way!
Eric and Pamela gave me the impression that they are very down-to-earth. I only got to spend about thirty minutes with them, but I felt of their goodness as a family- they just had that vibe. The girls were all sweet to each other, and you can tell they have a lot of fun together.
Thank you, Eric and Pamela, for letting me spend a short time with you and getting some girl time in! Sometimes I need it! Your family is lovely and I think that is so apparent in your pictures.
