I haven't done mini-sessions in a long time for several reasons, but I had been thinking about it this year. When a friend was looking for a session, I thought, "Hey, why not?", found an adorable blanket, bought a cute lantern, and added some of my Christmas décor and ta-da! I couldn't have been happier with the result and I was so glad that this fellow-boy family wanted to try it out for a few pictures.
I have always been a fan of the boys' long hair, and what with quarantine this past year, Dad got in on the action, too. If there was an award for "Best Hair" in my business, they would definitely be the winners!
Derek and Emily have been busy renovating their house this past year as well, and it's as entertaining as watching HGTV for me. They do an amazing job! If I'm guessing correctly, Emily mostly picks everything out and Derek installs it. They've torn down walls and installed new bathrooms and windows. I'm patiently waiting for the next reno because they do beautiful work!
