I had such a great time spending a few minutes with Boston and his parents. He is quiet and confident and fun to be around.
Boston is a member of the Smithson Valley Rangers marching band and he plays tuba! He is also the tuba section leader. As many of you know, being a leader in marching band requires diligence and hard work so Boston must be a great leader and someone to be trusted. As a side note, the tuba is called the sousaphone in marching band! I learn a lot when I ask questions as a photographer!
Not only has Boston played in the marching band, he worked hard to make wind ensemble in school. He also tried out for region band and made it! Schools are big in Texas and very competitive. Boston’s accomplishments attest to his talent and ability to work hard.
Boston plans to attend UTSA this fall and will study engineering. He’s excited to go to school and live on campus, but also be close enough to home (which will come in handy on laundry day)!
Boston's parents are very proud of his accomplishments, and I love the words his parents had to share with him. “Boston you are such a hard worker and so responsible. We are so proud of you and all the accomplishments you have made in high school. You will do amazing things! Love you, Mom and Dad"
Congratulations, Boston!
