As a photographer, I’m keenly aware that it’s especially important to make a good impression upon first meeting little ones. Pictures can be stressful and I am often meeting people for the first time. Sometimes children are going to be shy no matter what, but if I can help it, I really want them to have a good experience. I met Allan, Dani and their boys for the first time at our session and I pretty much died over these two toe-headed pumpkins! Luckily, they warmed up to me enough to get some beautiful pictures! It got a bit chilly toward the end and the youngest was tired so the fact that we got a great start and some joyful pictures was a win!
They obviously adore Mom and Dad so all it took were a few little belly tickles from Dad and some kisses from Mom and they were all smiles! And maybe some snacks, as well.
After a short hour with Allan and Dani, I was able to tell they are a tight-knit and loving family. Allan is a native Texan, and Dani is from Alaska, but they’ve spent the last eight years making Texas their home (if you live in Texas, you just know...it’s a wonderful place to live.) It was so fun getting to know them.
Allan and Dani, thank you so much for the opportunity to spend a fun evening with you, capturing such beautiful pictures! You have such handsome boys and so much fun in your future!!
