I’m not sure if I just have an exceptional group of seniors every year, but it never ceases to amaze me when I learn about all the wonderful ways these students excel, serve, and achieve! Londynn is definitely one of these students and I’m blown away at all the things she has done in high school.
Londynn has been a member of the Johnson High School choir through all four years of high school and she made Encore, the show choir, as a senior. They perform several times throughout the year at special events, elementary and middle schools, and for their concerts. It takes a lot of time and dedication to learn all the songs and choreography, attend all the performances and still do all the other things high school requires.
On top of school choir, Londynn was a member of the Texas Children’s Choir for the past four years. This choir provides service to the community. They often travel for performances and after being cancelled for two years due to COVID, Londynn was able to go to Hawaii with the choir in 2022 where the choir performed for the Battle of Midway Commemoration. Each year, she earned the Gold presidential service award through her service with the choir.
Londynn has a lot of other interests outside of choir including cooking, baking, painting & drawing. She baked treats for her choir friends throughout the year (which I’m sure brightened many of their days through her thoughtfulness)! This love of baking and cooking has lead her to decide to attend culinary school at St. Phillips College. (If she's looking for people to practice on, I’d gladly volunteer!)
Londynn’s hard work and dedication through high school has paid off as she will graduate Cum Laude at the end of May. Londynn is quiet about her accomplishments she was so much fun to photograph. She’s very photogenic and very humble about it!
Her parents are very proud of her and had this to say: “Londynn is an incredible daughter, sister, and student. Londynn is committed to overcoming obstacles and achieving her goals. She loves deeply and cares easily. Londynn has been a gift and a reward. S he is truly a blessing to all that have the privilege of knowing her.”
That pretty much sums up how amazing she is. Congratulations, Londynn!
